Baby Lucy – Newborn at Home

Well this was a birth story and a half! Baby Lucy decided not only to arrive very late but she then arrived at home before the midwives arrived, with the help of only Dad!! Absolutely incredible story.

I always feel so privileged being asked to photograph a newborn. Being welcomed into someones home just days after the arrival of a new little one is a very special feeling. It can be a very unchartered time for many, getting used to a new little person while adapting to your new role can feel overwhelming.

This family however were taking it all in their stride. A very proud big brother introduced me to his new little sister, closely followed by his favourite toys! Big brother here was a little star and we managed to capture many beautiful moments of this new family of 4.
